  • Hi,

    Try installing lxappearance and lxappearance-obconf

  • Thanks, but these apps are already installed.
Am I need some gtk motors?

  • Hi,

It depends on your theme. I have gtk-engines and gtk-engine-murrine. I use the zukitwo theme, so I also have installed zukitwo-themes and zukitwo-theme-openbox

    Hope this helps.

  • Nothing

Other problems: The chrome’s starting “process” is very slow. I must wait +10s to appear the window.

  • Hi,

I’m confused. Did you mark this as solved? Is it really solved?

If you really solved this, could you explain it for future reference?

    Thanks!

  • Yes, I marked as solved.
    I customized
    Install:
PCMANFM - for file manager and background image
LXApperance + my own openbox theme + FUTURA GTK

Nice! Thanks for posting what worked for you. You never know when someone else will have the same question so its good to have it documented. I honestly have not spent much time using openbox, I don’t think any of us devs have actually. It shows through with the content so I am planning to work on that. The default install needs some love for sure

  • My autostart file from openbox

    tint2 &
    pcmanfm --desktop &
    chromium &
    volumeicon &
    lxterminal &
    transmission-gtk -m &

And here is my rc file.

  • Cool, thanks!!

  • [[email protected] ~]$ systemd-analyze time
    Startup finished in 584542y 2w 2d 20h 1min 44.902s (loader) + 3.420s (kernel) + 21.087s (userspace) = 24.508s

    What is “loader”?

Where I find a Antergos background? (what is the default on gnome desktop)

  • Its refers to the boot loader. The boot loader brings everything online that the linux kernel needs (processor, memory, usb system, display, etc) and then hands everything over to the kernel. The kernel time you see is the boot time between when the kernel was handed the system and when it handed the system to the userspace (login manager). Make sense? That’s the best I could explain it. Of course it’s actually more complicated, but you should have a better idea of what is happening now

EDIT: I forgot to include the answer to your second question! “sudo pacman -S antergos-wallpapers”

    Cheers!
