• Openbox .config/autostart volumeicon

    I think .config/autostart should be

    nitrogen --restore &
    [b:b4jtzkfz]volumeicon &[/b:b4jtzkfz]
    compton -fC &
    tint2 &

    instaed of

    nitrogen --restore &
    [b:b4jtzkfz]volumeicon -b &[/b:b4jtzkfz]
    compton -fC &
    tint2 &

    Otherwise volumeicon will not be seen on taskbar.

  • You are right
    Fixed

  • Also I have following suggesions.

    1. .config/tint2/tint2rc

    panel_position =[b:6bukleyt] top[/b:6bukleyt] center horizontal

    1. .config/tint2/tint2rc

    wm_menu = [b:6bukleyt]1[/b:6bukleyt]

    Otherwise right click menu will not open on tint2 panel.

    1. .config/openbox/rc.xml
      [b:6bukleyt]<keybind key=“W-C-space”>[/b:6bukleyt]
      <action name=“Execute”>
      <startupnotify>
      <enabled>true</enabled>
      <name>dmenu</name>
      </startupnotify>
      [b:6bukleyt] <command>dmenu_run -i</command>[/b:6bukleyt]
      </action>
      </keybind>

    I use W-C-space as shortcut key to open dmenu. After trying many keys, I found W-C-space is most convinent to open dmenu. Also in demnu keybinding it calls shell script which does not exist. I just changed it to demnu_run -i. And dmenu is very useful and powerful launcher on Openbox.
