• Show Hidden start up applications

Hey guys, recently I decide move out to Arch World, than I decide use Antergos.

I`ved installed the newer version 64 bits with gnome, on Lenovo G400s, with core i3 and 4G ddr3 ram, worke better and smooth.

In gnome have some applications, it start up with System but some applications for me doesn`t have any value, and I want deactivate it. In Ubuntu to show hidden apps i use this command -> sudo sed -i “s/NoDisplay=true/NoDisplay=false/g” /etc/xdg/autostart/*.desktop .

How I can do the same in Arch, I read wiki in Arch page but I don`t find any about it. Thanks

  • Hi,

    Welcome to Antergos!

Not having used GNOME on a daily basis in over 2 years I could be completely wrong about this BUT you should be able to manage all of your session’s startup applications using GNOME Tweak Tool. Have you tried it?

  • In Gnome I mange it, but my problem is in KDE. Tks

  • Take a look at gnome-sesstion-manager from the aur.
