Anything of unusual in my files???

  • Hmm…It looks like everything goes okay with lightdm. It starts MATE session successfully. Something must be occurring after that. Could you post the contents of ~/.xsession-errors ?

  • This is my ~/.xsession-error file:

  • Please…Is there anyone which can help me?

  • @manu1979 Hi, please try running the commands listed on the following post and let me know the result. Thanks.

    http://forum.antergos.com/topic/1692/new-instalation/21

  • I decided to uninstall LightDM and install SDDM . Unless no load before starting X. must type “systemctl restart sddm” and then enter my password and with that the desktop starts.

  • I didn’t solve my problem yet…I tried with last instructions too but my login manager doesn’t work and whwn i close the session or change user display goes all black . So i have reinstalled all Antergos …but the problem still exists…Why do you think this happens?

  • Sorry, sorry, sorry…With the last lightdm-webkit2-greeter updates it’s all ok …
Thanks a lot to all people which were interested in my problem

  • You’re welcome! I’m glad the issue is resolved (finally!)

  • Hi
Have been for some time a big fan of Antergos !!
A very good way to make people like me archlinux closer.
Thanks a lot for this !!

    But. , , , , , ,
    I still struggle with lightdm.
Before I can log on I must reload the start page of lightdm.
Then everything works as it should.
    I have searched a lot. , , , , !
Also a new installation of Antergos tried.
    The same small problem.
    But no solution found.

Where can I begin to solve the little problem to solve?

    Sorry for my bad English.

  • @gorki.b: I know lots.0.logs will disagree, but if you’re using Gnome, the easiest option is disable lightdm and install Gdm.

  • @Orlando-Romero : Use “systemctl enable ssdm” to enable it when starting your computer.
