• CUPS can't connect to my network printer (brother DCP-J4110DW)

[http://localhost:631/admin/][0]">[http://localhost:631/admin/][1] doesn’t shows me any available printer. I also tried to add the printer manually, unsuccesfully…

The printer is connected with my network. Another PC is able to print.

    I’ve installed the brother-dcpj4110dw 3.0.1-1 driver with yaourt [https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brother-dcpj4110dw/][0]">[https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brother-dcpj4110dw/][2]

I also disabled first the old cups service with

    systemctl disable cups.service

    Enabled cups and avahi

     systemctl enable avahi-daemon.service
    systemctl enable org.cups.cupsd.service

    And started both manually with

     systemctl start avahi-daemon.service
    systemctl start org.cups.cupsd.service

    ping shows me this

    PING 192.168.001.115 (192.168.1.115) 56(84) bytes of data.

    [b:x75tng6a]EDIT[/b:x75tng6a]
I changed the line in /etc/cups/client.conf to

    ServerName 192.168.1.118

Now avahi finds my printer :D but CUPS still can’t…
