  • Hello I do that but return package or dependencies not found, i see in pacman commands pacman -U java-jre8.tar.gz. I will try later. Thanks

  • Open a Terminal, download, extract, make and install it:

    cd Downloads  
    wget https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/jr/jre/jre.tar.gz  
    tar -xzvf jre.tar.gz  
    cd jre  
    makepkg -s  
    sudo pacman -U jre-8u25-1-x86\_64.pkg.tar.xz

  • Some Swiss banck have Oracle partner when they se the vendor, isn’t Sun or Oracle , they guive error page

    I am trying to access in one tool, but gets an error:

    “Browser has no java”

    I have installed: jdk (AUR), jre (AUR)and icetea-web

     #java -version
    java version "1.8.0_131"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-b11)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)
    

    But, in the browsers (Firefox or Chromium) has the same problem.

    Any idea? Could you assit here?```
