• Xnoise and Clementine -- no audio output


    About a month ago, Xnoise stopped playing audio files. Just no audio output. Instead of fixing the problem, I just installed Clementine. That worked perfectly up until yesterday, when it did the exact same thing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Archlinux x64

    AMD A4-3305M Processor
    6GB RAM
    1GB+512MB Hybrid AMD GPU

  • Hmm lets try this.

    • Open xnoise
    • Play a song
    • Go to settings -> sound
    • Click on Applications tab
    • Try moving the xnoise volume slider if that helps.

  • Thanks anyway. Strange default mediaplayer app, for Antergos! I like it, but seems that the developers, not too much…

    Just to clarify, we’re ditching xnoise, not because we don’t like it, but because the developer is not working on it anymore.

    We’ll add another default media player with the new release
