• Kernel panic with linux-ck

    hello,

I have some troubles installing linux-ck.

I installed the packages fromo [repo-ck]. Then I reboot, and I’ve got a kernel panic with :

end Kernel Panic - not syncing : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on unknow-block (0,0)

Someone can help me to resolve this ?

  • Checkout [Kernel Panics[/url:3jba4s4m] on Archwiki and find the correct Disk-ID (UUID, /dev etc) for your Bootloader-Configuration[/url:3jba4s4m].]0

  • Finally,

    I modify my grub.cfg.

I had the correct lines here now :

    linux /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck root=UUID=06780b53-e781-4577-96e4-f641f8fb9a67 rw quiet
    initrd /boot/initramfs-linux-ck.img

but I still cannot boot to my display manager ?! Why ?

  • I installed the nvidia drivers. ( forgot this essential package )

    now it works !

  • Glad you solved it!

    Thanks for sharing your solution.

    Cheers!
