• Splash screen

Does Antergos has a boot splash screen?
the reason I ask, besides not seeing any in my current config, is that in other distros, I usually have to edit my grub configs so i can see the splash screen.
    In Ubuntu i have to:
    edit /etc/default/grub and add GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=1024x768
    run echo “FRAMEBUFFER=y” | sudo tee -a /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash
    run update-initramfs -u -k all
    run update-grub

If Antergos has a splash screen, how can I activate it?
Yep, I know. Not really a critical issue!

  • Hmm…The grub theme should have been installed automatically. Please post your install log. You will find it in /var/log saved as “cnchi-INSTALL-DATE”.

    Best Regards,

  • I’m not talking about the grub theme/splash. I’m talking about the splash after selecting Antergos in grub and before the LightDM login screen!
and I had to install the grub theme after install.
