• Installing on custom encrypted setup - why missing?

In Ubuntu and Mint, you have an option during installation to choose a custom partition layout and still be able to use full disk encryption.

However, in Antergos you can only choose the default setup, or no encryption at all.

Why is it so and is there a way around it?

  • Encryption options has not been implemented in advanced mode yet. It is on the roadmap though!

    Cheers

  • Boot Ubuntu ISO, select “Try Ubuntu” to start a desktop

    Thanks.

On a sidenote - I tried the CLI installer that has such an option, but it did not assign proper values to grub and even after modifying them, system never got past grub.
