• Desktop is blocked


    Hi. My Desktop is blocked… Don´t appear iccons (Trash, Pc, etc)… I cant right click… Nothig…

    My /.config/user-dirs.dirs are:
    XDG_DESKTOP_DIR="$HOME/Escritorio"
    XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR="$HOME/Descargas"
    XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR="$HOME/Plantillas"
    XDG_PUBLICSHARE_DIR="$HOME/Público"
    XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR="$HOME/Documentos"
    XDG_MUSIC_DIR="$HOME/Música"
    XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/Imágenes"
    XDG_VIDEOS_DIR="$HOME/Vídeos"

  • I assume you’re using Antergos Gnome.
    In that case, install gnome-tweak-tool

    sudo pacman -S gnome-tweak-tool
    

    Open it, select ‘Desktop’ tab and turn “Icons on Desktop” on.!

  • You can also go into dconf Editor and get your desktop icons back. First go to:
    org>mate>desktop.background and check the box for “show desktop icons”
    then you can go to:
    org>mate>caja>desktop to check the icons you want to be shown.
