    E 'available for Arch Linux and derived a new repository that allows us to easily install the new desktop environment LXQt

    Thanks to the new repository of third-party dedicated to LXQt we can install and above all keep your new desktop environment without having to compile / install various packages from AUR. In the repository there is also the new display manager SDDM and various applications such as the file manager PCManFM-Qt, the new reader of images LXimage-qt etc.

    Integrating LXQt repository in Arch Linux and derivatives is very simple just type in a terminal:

    sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf

    and add:

    SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
    Server = http://esclapion.free.fr/lxqt/$arch/repolxqt/

    and close all with Ctrl + x and then s

    Now we are ready to install LXQt with the Openbox window manager, to do this just type:

    sudo pacman -Sy lxqt-desktop-git openbox

    To install PCManFM-Qt and qt-LXimage just type:

    sudo pacman -Sy pcmanfm-qt-git lximage-qt-git

    We may also use the new display manager SDDM by typing in a terminal:

    sudo pacman -S sddm-git

    The installation is complete we will have to turn it on, if we have other display active managers we have to turn them off, then we type:

    sudo systemctl enable sddm

    and reboot.

    On restart we will have the new LXQt.
