• How to find the geographic location of an IP by shell?


    In this guide we will see how to locate an IP directly using the Linux shell.

    -The first thing to do to install the package GeoIP:

    The package is present in the Extras repository and can be installed with the command:

    \# pacman -Sy geoip geoip-database
    

    Completed the installation of the packages, simply open our terminal and use the command:

    \# geoiplookup <address IP\>
    

    Below is an example of geolocation:
