I’m using gnome (gnome-shell) on a laptop with intel/nvidia card and recently have a problem with some videos on firefox, the f*^*** green video
This testing page [http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html]">[http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html] with 3 videos (different formats) shows how the browser plays them, and in Chromium all three play well, but in Firefox just the WebM and Ogg/theora, but I get a green screen (just hear sound) with h.264/mp4 coded video.
Using Chromium there’s not such problem so I guess everything needed is installed on my system, or not? I mean, it’s just a plugin missed from firefox or something?
That page is not the problem, of course, is just a page for testing. I get this problem on sites like vimeo, some youtubes, vine, …
After some searching on forums it seems it’s something about flash plugin, but this videos are html5s, so how can flash/adobe be involved?
