    Hi,

I just installed Antergos with Gnome and I can’t connect to WiFi (wired works fine). My network adapter is Asus PCE-AC68. Here is some more info:

I have tried installing the broadcom-wl driver, but I get the following error:

    sudo modprobe wl

modprobe: FATAL: Module wl not found in directory /lib/modules/4.18.16-arch1-1-ARCH

I am not sure where to go from here, any help is appreciated!

  • @aadne-jacobsen
Do you have broadcom-wl or broadcom-wl-dkms installed?

  • @manuel
I have tried both, but currently I have b43-firmware and b43-fwcutter installed.

  • when broadcom-wl installed , mkinitcpio -P to put it forward to use ? probably avoid conflict with current b43 to blacklist temporarely ?

  • I have tried installing the broadcom-wl driver, but I get the following error:

    sudo modprobe wl

modprobe: FATAL: Module wl not found in directory /lib/modules/4.18.16-arch1-1-ARCH

I had the same error today when I was reinstalling Antergos. First install linux-headers package. Then install broadcom-wl-dkms package. Here try this:

    sudo pacman -S linux-headers
    sudo pacman -S broadcom-wl-dkms
sudo rmmod b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac bcma
    sudo modprobe wl

    Reboot.

  • dont forget dkms must first do the init thing

  • @Quantum_Sniper Omg was trying for 2 days thank you a lot

  • closing
if someone has similar issue simple open a new threat
