I’ve been using Epiphany recently for multi-monitor solutions since hidpi to normal dpi scaling sucks on Firefox and Chrome and I actually really like the minimalistic interface of Epiphany. I usually hook up my second monitor to either code or write essays in Google Docs so the minimalism is super nice.
My big issue is that Epiphany seems to register as Safari/MacOS on Google Docs and has MacOS key bindings. This is unacceptable for me since I use keyboard shortcuts very heavily. I’m led to believe this is some kind of WebKit related issue (?) but I’m not entirely sure. I’ve been able to setup a user agent spoof for a windows 7 build running firefox and have confirmed it works using one of those online tools but I still open GDocs and it still has MacOS key bindings. I tried wiping cache, uninstalling/reinstalling but nothing works. Any ideas how to fix this?
