• Proper drivers

    Sorry if my question is silly. After the installation of Antergos do i have to install drivers for my hardware (motherboard,graphic card) or the installation programm detects the hardware and install automaticaly the proper drivers?

  • kernel holds most of needed drivers for hardware, you do not need to install them.

    Only some Graphiccards and some hardware needs something extra installed.

    For example if you want to play games on a nvidia GPU it is may needed to install propritary nvidia driver for the card to get full speeds…

    If you want us to take a look onto your hardware give us some specs:

    lspci > log.txt && lsusb >> log.txt && cat log.txt | curl -F [email protected] https://ptpb.pw/?u=1

    simple copy paste this line inside a terminal, it will give out a url you can post here what is linking to a pastebin of your specs…

    is integrated intel graphics so nothing special to install extra…
    If you do not have problems like tearing on playing video all is configured automatic.

  • Ok my friend. Thanks a lot

    There are no silly questions, only there are questions and nobody is born knowing!
