• Possible Problem With Antergos Boot Order

    Good Afternoon All,

I’ve recently installed Antergos after spending some time on Ubuntu and I’ve been having some problems with the boot order. I don’t seem to be able to start Antergos normally by selecting it normally from the bootloader. Whenever I do, the screen goes black and stays that way. I then have to switch to another tty in order to log in to a terminal an reboot.

However, if I select advanced options in the bootloader and load the LTS version, I can log into the DE normally. Any other option selected during the bootloader results in the screen going blank.

Has anyone had this issue before? I’m at a loss at what’s going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers :)

  • i do not think your issue is caused by a bootloader problem… as you can boot fine with the LTS-Kernel i would blame it to latest kernel update, some other users reporting similar issue…
