• Correct graphics driver for AMD R9 390

Currently trying to figure out what graphics driver I should be using with my AMD R9 390 card. I have been reading comparisons between the radeon and amdgpu drivers, but cannot tell which one is right for me. To my best understanding, radeon is the more mature driver, while amdgpu is experimental.

Currently, the result of lspci -v shows that I am using the radeon driver.

Would it be simple enough to try amdgpu and see if it improves my performance, or could this cause issues with my system?

Thank you! Below I will append the relevant output of lspci -v:

says: ati/radeopn for older cards and amdgpu for newer cards.

I am not used to ATI/AMD Cards so i can not say what your card is or what driver it needs…
