• KDE installation


    Hello everybody,

    Today i tried to install Antergos from the live dvd and i wanted to have KDE as my desktop, any how after two failed attempts i just searched the forum and i found how to resolve that issue and it was very simple i just used the [b:12dc0lf5]cnchi-dev [/b:12dc0lf5] trick and after the updated i finally had KDE installed.

    I just noticed one thing which is i am installing Antergos on my Thinkpad X220 and while i was in the live dvd mode all my FN keys were working perfectly except the [fn+space] which is for zoom in and out but i was really so happy that this was the first time i see all my FN keys are working, and by the way this was an issue with all my thinkpads.

    Anyhow after i rebooted into KDE none is working except the brightness and volume, The question here did i miss something or it is KDE.

    and finally i really want to say thank you for making such great distro.

  • I bet you have to install some package, that was already installed on the live DVD. You have to know, that packages installed on live image aren’t moved/copied to HD.

    Or not… Try this one:
