• ERROR: Base filesystem does not exist!

    Hello to all,
I’m trying to install cnchi on Arch Linux with its dependencies (I have a virtual machine with VirtualBox).

The installer starts up and runs quietly until I click on the Next button to install the system (after selecting “erase disk” and install grub).

The error that is shown is the following:

[b:1rhwwsvn]show_message.py: error () - ERROR: Base filesystem does not exist! [/b:1rhwwsvn]

  • We decided to move Cnchi’s development over to a private repository after the v0.6 release. It’s something none of us are happy about but we really did not have much choice. Cnchi’s source code will be made available with each future release in the form of a tarball. Yesterday, I backported the fix for partitioning issue to our github master branch. You can perform a git pull to resolve your issue. I want to note that we are still happy to accept contributions to Cnchi from other users. Interested users need only to contact one of us devs to arrange for access. Thanks

    Cheers!
