    Hey all…
I seem to have fixed my previous problems with my trackpad and keyboard. They have since resolved themselves, but as for the time being, my maxtouch touchpad works until I CLICK it. I can tap to click just fine, but as soon as I click, it ceases to function. It seems to have entered a kind of drag lock situation

  • i would blame this to latest archlinux-kernel, as it has some buggy stuff related to input devices…

  • @joekamprad Will using the latest galliumos-braswell kernel fix this? And how do I notify the grub of the change of kernel?

  • by generating kernel images and updating grub.cfg

sudo mkinitcpio -p linux far main kernel need to fit the name of the kernel you wat to add.
    sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

But i do not know about a galliumos-braswell for arch based systems… i only see this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/galliumos-braswell-config/

  • @joekamprad can you make a step by step for me please?

  • @brainiacandahalf if you show me where to get the galliumos-braswell kernel ?

  • It’s in the aur. Also you can do yaourt -S galliumos-braswell

  • @brainiacandahalf said in Atmel maxtouch:

The package from AUR do not build a kernel as far as i can see…
