• Missing lightdm-settings option

    Hello,

when using the lightdm slick-greeter along with lightdm-settings from the Cinnamon control center, there is in
Mint and Manjaro, in the background section, an option to enable or disable the use of user backgrounds (so that you can choose to use the user desktop background as lightdm background or on the contrary disable this feature and set a different background for lightdm).

This option is missing in Antergos, so I’m wondering why.
    Thanks for suggestions.

  • Cinnamon is invented by Mint-Linux and only ported to archlinux, it was long time ago the one DE used for CinnArch what was the creator of what is now Antergos.

So cinnamon was packed and maintained as a package tree on Antergos before, but now we are using cinnamon packages from Archlinux itself, the are ruled to do not change the sources… so we have some stuff that will not work for Arch/Antergos on the settings… as packages for this are not aviable or linked to Mint itself.
