Antergos in other languages
If English isn't your first language or you just prefer communicating in another language this area is for you!
@mr-ed So i went back and read over some of your older posts and you say you really need Windows more and you could re-install Antergos if need be. I know the dealer told you about EasyBCD but on UEFI i wouldn’t recommend it. Just my opinion. I’ve used Easy-Bcd and yes it works good on MBR setup but it’s just adding another layer to things. I use Easy UEFI but only to switch the bootloader if it happens to boot only Windows. If you want to get back to Windows first and then i can help you turn off Windows 10 fast boot and hiberfile. Reinstalling Antergos is not that bad as you just use manual partitioning and use the same / which i think was /dev/sda5 and edit the settings to format it again and then mount the Fat 32 EFI partition in Windows and edit the settings to set /boot/efi which was /dev/sda2 and install.
So if you want to boot into Windows change the boot order using this command in the terminal.
sudo efibootmgr -o 0006, 0000, 0001, 0002
@mr-ed So now you have used nano and if you open an existing file with nano you can edit it and save the changes. I just forgot to tell you to press enter after ctrl o and ctrl x. So ctrl o saves it and ctrl x exits nano. Pretty easy. Gedit is similar. You just have to get used to the functions and how it works.
@mattrbrousseau As GDM is made for GNOME i would go into debugging GDM at last.
From logs i would disable hide-app-icon first… But also check if they are compatible with latest shell over extensions webpage.
No, Windows does not boot.
Let’s see first if Windows boots. I suggest taking one step at a time, since too many may be confusing.
Current problem is booting to Windows.
